Welcome to Drop’n’Hop
The “Fun Starts Here” at Drop ’n’ Hop Play Café. We are your one stop play center for providing active play areas that include gross motor, fine motor and tactile environments. The center also includes two party spaces and two multi-sport simulators.
Drop ‘n’ Hop Play Cafe is Central Alberta’s local indoor playground and activity centre located in the town of Sylvan Lake. We offer all-day playground admission, 2-Multi-Sport simulators (pay for play) ages 3 and up. We can host your next birthday party in one of our party rooms or you are welcome to rent the entire facility after hours for larger groups.
Multi-Sport Simulators at Drop ‘n’ Hop Play Café is perfect for adults, children and youth groups. Both simulators are equipped with Rally Baseball | Slapshot Hockey | Breakaway Soccer | Foot Golf | Bowl-a-Rama | Disc-Go Golf | Zombie Dodgeball | Wild West Shooting Gallery | Football.
The large playground structure is designed for children ages 3 to12 and parents are invited to play too. This larger playground has 2-tube slides, cave peaks, obstacle course and a ball pit.
Hourly Drop-In Play (unparented) at Drop ‘n’ Hop Play Café is a safe space for parents to feel confident to leave their children while they complete their everyday chores like grocery shopping, laundry, doctor or dentist appointments; spa time: hair, nail, massage, etc. appointments; boat ride, water sports or fishing for a few hours. Any time that is need for the family that your child needs temporary care for a minimum 1 hour to a maximum of 4 hours per day.
Our baby and toddler area is perfect for anyone 3 years of age and younger. Designed to improve dexterity for the littles, the area includes a slide, soft climbable obstacles and foam building blocks for hand-to-eye coordination
Owners
Tammy and Marvin are residents of Sylvan Lake. We believe in community and wanted to offer the children of Central Alberta a place to have fun by incorporating interactive games with the traditional elements that indoor playgrounds offer. The layout of our center has been designed to allow parents to play with their child or relax in our café and have direct line-of-sight to their child.
We are a fabulous blended family of nine children and have successfully parented children of various ages. We are also proud grandparents of seven. The experiences we have with all of our own children and grandchildren, we know how important it is to have ‘parent time’ with a coffee or alone time to relax, while feeling comfortable your children are safe and having fun.
Our hope is that your family has as much fun here as we have had creating this playground for you and your family.
